A 6-CE HOUR ON DEMAND SUPERVISION WORKSHOP!
Bridging Heart and Practice: Enhancing Clinical Supervision Skills ONLINE
Clinical supervision resides at the intersection of professional development and interpersonal growth. This intensive 6-hour training offers a unique approach to supervision that balances technical expertise with emotional intelligence, preparing both new and experienced clinical supervisors to create relational, transformative learning environments with their supervisees.
Join Sarah Buino and Sarah Suzuki to explore the role of clinical supervision through an innovative framework that integrates practical skills with heart-centered leadership. Through interactive exercises, case studies, and guided reflection, supervisors will develop the confidence and competence to navigate complex supervisory relationships while fostering growth in clinical practice.
Throughout this dynamic training, participants engage in experiential learning through role-play scenarios and case discussions, while reflective exercises help bridge theory with personal practice. The workshop features interactive activities designed to build practical supervision skills, complemented by valuable opportunities for peer learning and professional networking. All participants will receive a comprehensive resource package to support their ongoing development as supervisors.
Together we will…
Apply at least three foundational supervision principles to develop an individualized leadership framework for clinical supervision
Demonstrate the RUPI feedback model through role-play scenarios to deliver constructive feedback in challenging supervisory situations
Analyze power dynamics in supervisory relationships using case studies to identify at least two strategies for maintaining ethical boundaries
Design a structured evaluation process that incorporates both performance metrics and professional development goals
Implement three specific strategies for managing ethical challenges in supervision settings
Create an action plan that integrates clinical supervision best practices with specific workplace requirements

In an era of increasingly turbulent social, political, and legal waters, therapists and practice owners face unprecedented challenges to their sustainability and wellbeing. Originally created for the NASW National Conference in 2025, this workbook is supportive for any therapist navigating our modern challenges.
In a time when therapists are being asked to do more with less; navigating burnout, trauma, systemic failure, and global upheaval; this comprehensive and reflective workbook offers a radical new approach to professional sustainability.
Part practical guide, part personal transformation tool, A Modern Social Worker’s Survival Toolkit equips helping professionals with the frameworks, exercises, and self-assessments they need to not just survive, but evolve in their roles. Through topics like developmental awareness, values-based decision-making, boundary work, power dynamics, and collective care, social workers are invited to explore their “why,” rethink empathy, and ground their practice in both self-compassion and structural advocacy.
This is not your average self-care manual. This is a toolkit for the modern helper who wants to show up with more clarity, courage, and consciousness at work, in community, and within systems in desperate need of change.
Perfect for individual reflection, clinical supervision, or group learning spaces, this resource is a lifeline for therapists who are committed to making an impact without losing themselves in the process.
