Honest Feedback to Spark Your Direction
Practice ownership is not for the faint of heart.
Many consultants promise results like revenue growth or full client rosters. That’s not my style. I’m not here to sell you a fantasy of “easy success.” I’m here to walk with you through the messy, beautiful truth of running a group practice.
At Head/Heart Business Therapy, we help group practice owners face the real emotional and relational challenges that come with leadership. We believe the most powerful business strategy is being a grounded, self-aware leader. That’s why we combine clinical insight with business savvy to help you develop the clarity and confidence to lead with courage — not just hustle.
This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about long-term transformation — the kind that starts from within.
Group Practice (R)evolution For the Whole Team’s Growth
Current structures of group practice are not meeting the needs of employees or practice owners. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
The current vibe:
Employees feel overworked and exploited
Owners feel overburdened and villainized
Trust is at an all-time low while fear is at an all-time high
Simultaneously, private equity and venture capital are creeping in to completely change the landscape of mental health business.
What if we could build practices, not on the way we’ve always done business, but with innovative tools and ideas that lead to better outcomes for clients, staff, and practice owners?
Business literacy for everyone + consultation for practice owners = empowered voices at every level
Business literacy for everyone: We teach clinicians and support staff the business basics. When employees understand the “why” behind the business, trust grows and resentment decreases.
Consultation for practice owners: Owning a group practice is complex. GP(R) offers all the services provided in one to one consultation alongside working with your entire team.
Educated and informed therapists at every level: Practices develop structures of transparency, organization, and care. When people feel seen, valued, and educated they stay invested.

Kind Words from Cool Folks
Why Head/Heart Business Therapy?
Just three months after creating Head/Heart Therapy in 2014, Sarah’s father died suddenly of a heart attack. Nine months later, Sarah lost her mother to breast cancer. In coping with these losses alongside the growth and expansion of her business, Sarah sought to heal herself. Her blend of courage, authenticity, and vulnerability has been at the forefront of the way Sarah built and grew Head/Heart Therapy for nearly a decade. In successfully navigating numerous challenges with ongoing consultation, Sarah learned vital skills for managing a vibrant business. She also realized her greatest passion: helping therapists heal. And so, Sarah decided to begin a new adventure to support helping professionals and healthcare organizations to heal and transform themselves.
