THE (R)EVOLUTION IS HERE.
ARE YOU IN?
Current structures of group practice are not meeting the needs of employees or practice owners.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
The current vibe:
Employees feel overworked and exploited
Owners feel overburdened and villainized
Trust is at an all-time low while fear is at an all-time high
Simultaneously, private equity and venture capital are creeping in to completely change the landscape of mental health business.
The old way of doing business is over. It’s time for a (r)evolution.
What is Group Practice (R)evolution?
At Group Practice (R)evolution, we believe healthy practices are built on shared knowledge, shared power, and shared humanity.
What if we could build practices, not on the way we’ve always done business, but with innovative tools and ideas that lead to better outcomes for clients, staff, and practice owners?
At GP(R), we believe this new future is possible through:
Business literacy for everyone: We teach clinicians and support staff the business basics. How revenue works, how compensation is structured, what sustainable margins look like, so they can confidently discern what is fair, what is exploitative, and how decisions impact the whole system. When employees understand the “why” behind the business, trust grows and resentment decreases.
Emotional support for practice owners: Owning a group practice is emotionally complex. We offer space for owners to talk about the human side of leadership, not just logistics and KPIs. Through facilitated support groups, owners can process overwhelm, loneliness, ethical dilemmas, and growth edges in community, instead of carrying it all alone.
Empowered voices at every level: We help practices develop structures where every role has a meaningful voice. This includes tools for shared decision-making, communication practices that balance power differentials, and resources that help owners lead with transparency and integrity. When people feel heard, they stay invested.

Practicing with the head and the heart
At Head/Heart Business Therapy, we support individual, group, and organizational change by helping therapists and leaders understand what’s shaping them from the inside out.
We believe effective care depends not only on clinical expertise, but on the ability to see how inner experience, professional roles, and larger systems influence how we work. As the mental health field evolves, this kind of awareness supports leadership that is grounded, ethical, and sustainable.
