My list covers a wide range of people on purpose. Humankind is at a major crossroads, hence the dizzying whiplash of unbridled optimism and furious anger. These are, in fact, unprecedented times. Never in the history of humanity have we witnessed key planetary alignments like those taking place in the sky this year.
That brings me to my third point. Astrology is an excellent teacher. Or, as my guest Steve Judd puts it, “Astrology has outlasted every religion, empire, and political system. It's been around since humanity got off its knuckles on the East African plains, looked up at the sky and went, Wow! I can see patterns there!”
Observing planetary movements is one thing; knowing how to interpret the effects of those signatures is another. So, I asked Steve if he could shed some light on this year’s cosmic cycles. He’s an entirely self-taught astrologer who passionately advocates for its combination of scientific study and intuition. Steve has completed 40,000+ astrological readings over the course of his 45 years and his easy demeanor has gained him a large following on YouTube. “I think humanity is at the stage where all the old patterns are breaking down. Old has to die before the new can come in, But, it's still got to negotiate old baggage,” he confides, adding, “It’s gonna get messy.”
Okayyy.
Two things give Steve hope in 2026. “Firstly. There has never been a time in the history of this planet where the responsibility for the evolution of a species has been placed on the species itself,” he says. “And, there's never been a species on this planet that has had the ability to take the piss out of themselves as much as humanity.”
In other words, our capacity for laughter, introspection, and optimism are unmatched. Now, Steve says, is the time to take action. “The future of our planet and ourselves is down to us.”
